>25 years of experience in expology
Isabelle has >25 years of field and regulatory experience, especially with human risk assessment. Her favourite subjects are the pesticides. She gained her expertise from working at different companies with always the same fundamental thread: the human health.
Based on training as pharmacist and toxicologist, she worked for several years as a pre-clinical study director in CROs. Then she joined the toxicology and human risk assessment team at a major company, in charge of the toxicological evaluation of dossiers concerning pesticide active substances and related products.
Ten years were spent thereafter at a consulting company allowing her to keep perfecting her regulatory and experimental skills, with a focus on human risk assessment, including the building of several recent exposure calculation models and the direction of about twenty operator exposure studies.
Since the setting up of her own consultancy company in 2011, Isabelle has kept on conducting or monitoring human exposure studies (more than 55 studies conducted since 2003!) and on writing the part linked to human exposure in registration dossiers for pesticides, biocides or products under the REACH regulation.
She is often approached for her expertise when refinement of a risk assessment is necessary for different types of exposed populations and also to design optimally field study projects.
